Exercise:
Make groups of 4-6
Make sure all students have a piece of clay
Give the students the question/assignment: "Make something that will ..." (e.g. .. make it easier to eat an apple, .. help you drink)
Set a timer for 3 minutes and have the students come up with a solution for the question asked.
Students:
Based on the suggested activity, draw different, crazy, stupid, unrealistic/realistic, futuristic, sciencefistic etc. different solutions to the activity/problem
Come up with as many as possible within the time frame
When the time is up, everyone tell about one idea at the time
Hopefully a lot of funny and crazy ideas will have risen
